Our Work

Working in the Western Arctic of the Northwest Territories and the Yukon for the last 20 years has given Big Fish Little Fish Consultants an appreciation for the people, culture, landscapes and animals that live in the north.  Big Fish Little Fish has been fortunate to work alongside the people and organizations of the north to support freshwater fish, Yukon salmon populations, moose, caribou and the other finned, fur or feathered creatures. Whether it is community engagement, stewardship, land use or fish and wildlife planning and management, Big Fish Little Fish can come up with a plan, process or deliverable to meet your needs.  All of our experience involves targeting various audiences within the tourism, investment promotion and fish and wildlife sectors.

Communications Support – marketing, writing, story-telling, social media, website development, publications, event management and media relations.

Planning Support – community engagement, facilitation, working with local and traditional knowledge, community-based management planning, participatory mapping, fish and wildlife plans, and strategic planning.

Outreach – stewardship initiatives, workshops, community events, education, training, curriculum development, and online course delivery.
